Why I'm building a playground instead of a product

Okay so every time I make something fun I immediately start thinking about monetization and “positioning” and whatever, and then I get bored and abandon it.

Not doing that this time.

Rollforge is just a place for generators and random tools I want to exist. Name stuff, dice stuff, dumb utilities. There’s a blog because I like writing about what I’m building, and also so the site doesn’t look empty.

If people use it, sick. If it’s mostly me clicking Generate at 1am while avoiding real work, also fine.

I don’t have a five year plan. I have a folder of word lists and a domain. That’s enough for now.
